Welcome, Mama.

We are so glad you are here.

Our Mommie Village is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization providing doula services, lactation consulting, and postpartum support to the Mothers of our Buffalo New York community. We are dedicated to supporting black mothers and mothers of color in Buffalo, and help moms and families thrive together by not only providing community, but by seeking to break down barriers in healthcare equality for black women and their families. We are doulas, but provide so much more to the Mamas that we serve!

Our Fundraising Goal: $1,000,000

As a 501(c)3 non profit organization in Buffalo, we rely on the generosity of our donors to care for our Moms and Moms-to-be. We have many goals that we want to achieve in order to provide quality doula care, prenatal, & postpartum care to our clients, their babies & their families! Here are some of our primary goals for 2024:

  • Purchase a community facility to meet and host events through in Buffalo, New York. We want to be able to have meetups, community events, and outdoor space for children to play that would enrich the lives of the families we serve.
  • Provide 3 months of prepared meals to support 50 moms facing financial hardship.
  • Create an on-site childcare facility that allows moms the flexibility of working and also participating in community-supported childcare. Childcare should not cost an entire salary!
